Querencia Cuisine

Our visitors quickly realize that dining ‘in’ is one Casa Querencia’s best features.

Our resident chef is a master at transforming simple, fresh ingredients into mouthwatering dishes. Each morning starts with a lavish fresh fruit plate, accompanied by yogurt and a “make-your-own” granola bar, with espresso, coffee or tea. A second course always includes eggs, served with fresh, hot tortillas, refried beans and hot sauces. Lunch may be fish tacos, chicken taquitos, ceviche or refreshing salads, all accompanied by homemade salsas and guacamole. Dinner is a four-course affair, featuring homemade soups, salad, and a variety of specialties such as fish Veracruz, chicken mole or carne asada, followed by Mexican flan or palate-cleansing sorbets.

Our resident butler, Pancho, makes margaritas that guests say beat any in the resort. He’ll offer cucumber, watermelon, mango or hibiscus margaritas as well as sangria and pina coladas, but it’s hard to top the traditional margarita of fresh lime, agave nectar and reposada tequila, served in a chile and salt-rimmed glass.

Our staff is always happy to accommodate any special dietary needs and will quickly learn your preferences.
